Our aim is to cater for the denture and dental implant needs of the Illawarra by giving patients a simple, comfortable and affordable denture and dental implant restoration experience.The Denture Clinic deals with the measurement, construction and supply of dentures as well as in-house dental implant surgery, directly to our patients. We also provide denture repairs and denture reline services directly from out clinic for minimal downtime without your dentures. Being equipped for the surgical and restorative phases of dental implant assisted dentures ensures that all procedures are carried out in-house in our on-site dental laboratory.
Rest assured that at The Denture Clinic all clinical and surgical procedures are undertaken by qualified Dental Prosthetists, Dentists and Sedationists currently registered with the Dental Board of Australia.
Our on-site dental laboratory cuts down on the time and costs involved to construct your new smile. We offer complimentary initial consultations with denture and implant models for a visual understanding of the products and procedures we offer. This allows you to decide if an implant assisted restoration or dentures is the way forward for you without having to spend any money.
Dr Tony Mahfouz
Tony, the Dental Prosthetist at The Denture Clinic, has been constructing dentures for many years and thoroughly enjoys the challenge of meeting the wants and needs of each patient. Born and raised in the Illawarra, Tony studied and trained as a Dental Technician for many years prior to completing studies to become a Dental Prosthetist. Since graduating, Tony has worked in his own clinic located in the Illawarra creating smiles for his ever growing list of patients.
Tony's clinical and technical skills have led him to previously being awarded an Educational Schloarship by the NSW Dental Technicians Registration Board, as well as receiving the Phil Harris Memorial Prize for Academic Excellence by the Australian Dental Prosthetists Association (ADPA).
His continued further education has also allowed him in being a dental prosthetist who is also qualified to construct and administer implant-retained dentures.
Problem solving is one of Tony's many talents, and he strongly believes that his expertise and experiences in other industries are able to be applied into the dental field in order to give his patients the best possible outcome.

Dr Dean Licenblat
Dr Dean Licenblat Has been in private general practice in Sydney since graduating from the University of Sydney’s Dental program, and has also completed his Bachelor of Science with honours in Microbiology. He also holds a prestigious Master’s Degree from the Goethe University in Frankfurt with a focus on Oral Implantology and Bone Grafting.
As a member of numerous dental societies and an unparalleled dedication to continuing education Dr. Licenblat often attends post-graduate educational programmes both locally and abroad. The results of which are integrated into the practice thus offering patients the most technologically advanced and effective long-term treatment modalities.
Dean also lectures and teaches Implantology to other dentists, and oral surgeons. His skills regularly take him overseas.

Having worked in private general practice at several surgeries in the Sydney metropolitan area, Dr. Melissa Licenblat brings a tremendous amount of experience and professionalism to The Denture Clinic.
Her experience is matched only by her qualifications. With a Medical Science degree from the University of Sydney coupled with an honours degree from their esteemed Dental Program Dr. Melissa Licenblat is proud to be the Sedationist at The Denture Clinic.
